ولد الشيخ الدكتور بكر الصائغ في مكة المكرمة ونشأ وترعرع في كنف والده الشيخ عبد الغني السليماني الصائغ رحمه الله تاجر الذهب الأمين وطالب العلم الذي لم يفارق العلماء في الحرم المكي الشريف حتى وفاته رحمه الله.
فكان لابنه بكر حظاً كبيراً في نهل الأفكار والعلوم منذ الصغر من والده والاقتداء بصفاته التي يشهد له بها المجتمع المكي ما بين أمانة وثقة وسمعة طيبة والصفات الحميدة الذي اقترنت بذات الشيخ الجليل رحمه الله.
بدأ الدكتور مسيرته العلمية في المدرسة الرحمانية الابتدائية بمكة المكرمة مروراً بمدرسة العزيزية الثانوية (الملك عبدالعزيز) وأكمل مسيرته العلمية بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز بجدة متفوقاً في تخصص الاقتصاد، ليكتمل العقد الفريد بين مسيرة علمية ومسيرة عملية. بدأت في مجال الأعمال منذ الثامنة من العمر مع والده رحمه الله.، ولم يكتف الدكتور بكر بذلك فأكمل مسيرته طلباً للعلم خارج حدود الوطن هذه المرة ليحصل على شهادة الماجستير من جامعة عين شمس بجمهورية مصر العربية في مجال الصحة النفسية، متمماً هذه المسيرة بحصوله على درجة الدكتوراه. ويضع بعدها جل جهده وأبحاثه ودراسته في الارتقاء بمسيرة طالب مجتهد لرجل أعمال وإداري محنك ويغدو دكتورا مستشاراً.
بدأ الشيخ بكر مسيرته العملية منذ الثامنة من العمر بانياً خبرته المهنية على يد والده الشيخ عبد الغني في مجال الذهب والمجوهرات ما بين مصنع عبدالغني و محل عبد الغني في مكة المكرمة قرب الحرم المكي الشريف و استمر في هذا المجال ليبدأ أول رحلاته العملية في الثامنة عشر من العمر إلى لبنان لملاقاة نخبة من الجواهرجية وتمثيلاً لوالده رحمه الله. ونهل الخبرة حتى بلغ الشيخ بكر مرحلة دخول الجامعة متحولاً من مواظب على التواجد في المحل و المصنع إلى عنصر مؤثر يجمع ما بين العلم الذي ينهله في دراسته و الخبرة العملية الذي ترعرع عليها منذ الصغر، وتم ضمه حينها لأول لجنة للذهب والمجوهرات على مستوى المملكة تأسست في غرفة جدة وتولى الشيخ بكر حينها ملف التدريب في هذا اللجنة لينقل خبرته الطويلة في هذا المجال للمجتمع فقدم أول دورة في مجال الذهب والمجوهرات على مستوى المنطقة الغربية تحت مسمى (تحليل الذهب و عياراته واضعاً منهج سارت عليه من بعده مسيرة التدريب في مجال الذهب والمجوهرات ، حينها تم انتخابه نائبا لشيخ الصاغة في مكة المكرمة , وبعدها بسبع سنوات أجمع الصاغة في مكة المكرمة على ترشيح الدكتور بكر بن عبد الغني الصائغ شيخاً لصاغة الذهب بمكة المكرمة ورئيسا للجنة الذهب والمجوهرات بغرفة مكة ليكون هو المستشار الشيخ الدكتور بكر بن عبدالغني الصائغ.
تزوج الشيخ بكر ابنة المطوف الشيخ رشاد بن محمد بياري رحمه الله مدير إدارة الدور والأجور بإدارة التربية والتعليم بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، وله من الأبناء أربعة هم: المهندس عبد الغني الصائغ، الدكتورة ريم الصائغ، المهندس أحمد الصائغ، والمهندس عبدالكريم الصائغ. نشأ الأبناء في أسرة كريمة صالحة تربى أفرادها على الأخلاق الفاضلة والحميدة. وكان لشخصية والدهم الأثر العظيم في نفوس أبنائه تمثل ذلك في أخلاقهم العالية وعشرتهم الطيبة التي يشهد لهم بها كل من عرفهم. استطاع الشيخ بكر أن يغرس في أبنائه الجد والاجتهاد وحب العلم فكبروا جميعاً وتخرجوا بأعلى الشهادات.
يتولى عبدالغني منصب الرئيس التنفيذي شركة عبدالغني بيت الذهب والمجوهرات العريق وشركة عبدالغني إرث المجوهرات. يشغل مركز نائب شيخ طائفة الصاغة بمكة المكرمة منذ 2015. قاد شركة مباركات العقارية بصفته رئيس مجلس إدارتها. وفي عام 2013 ساهم في تأسيس مركز عبد الغني للتدريب والتطوير وأنجز خططه الاستراتيجية. كما
أنه رأس مؤسسة الصائغ للتجارة والمقاولات بصفة الرئيس التنفيذي بين 2010م و 2016م. تولى إدارة مصنع شركة عبدالغني بين سنتي 2002م و 2010م وأنجز قسم الضبط والجودة.
ساهم عبدالغني في تمثيل قطاع الذهب والمجوهرات في جميع الجوانب سواء في المعارض العالمية أو أمام الجهات الحكومية في المملكة كونه نائب رئيس اللجنة الوطنية للمعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة ونائب رئيس اللجنة التجارية الوطنية بالتوازي مع عضويته في غرفة جدة وغرفة مكة كعضو للمجلس التجاري. كما مثل أصحاب العمل ورأس وفد رجال الأعمال السعوديين في مؤتمر جنيف 109الخاص بمنظمة العمل الدولية (ILO) التابعة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة.
في عام 2010م، تم تعيينه معيداً في كلية الحاسبات ونظم المعلومات بجامعة أم القرى. حاصل على درجة الماجستير في هندسة الكمبيوتر من جامعة الملك عبد العزيز في جدة سنة 2013م, و حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في تخصص هندسة الحاسبات في عام ٢٠٢٢م. حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة الكمبيوتر من جامعة أم القرى ، مكة المكرمة ، المملكة العربية السعودية عام 2006م بتقدير عام ممتاز مع مرتبة الشرف الثانية. وهو حائز على دبلوم فحص الألماس والاحجار الكريمة من منظمة IGI العالمية. كما أنه عضو في الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين.
Eng Ahmed Al-Sayegh is a distinguished figure with contributions in various charitable, social, and sports organizations. He holds a variety of leadership roles in which he is committed to excellence.
Eng Ahmed Al-Sayegh's engagement in charitable work is evident through his membership in various organizations, such as the General Assembly of Aoun Charitable Association and Bar Charitable Society since 2021. Additionally, he joined the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Developmental Housing and Social Services in 2019, the Charitable Athletes Association in the Mecca Region in 2019 and 2020.
Throughout his professional life, Eng Ahmed Al-Sayegh has held prominent positions in several companies, including chairing the board of directors of Al-Ahly Club and Mubarakat Real Estate Company. He has been a board member of Wadi Makkah Technology Company since 2021. Currently, he continues to contribute his expertise as the CEO of Abdul Ghani Holding Company and MIM International for Financial and Administrative Consultations, enhancing his ability to drive growth, research, innovation, and continuous development.
Eng Ahmed Al-Sayegh also served as the CEO of the Technical Side Company from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, he held the position of Secretary-General of Al-Ahly Club from 2016 to 2019, contributing to the club's administrative tasks and strategic development.
In 2020, Eng Ahmed Al-Sayegh assumed the position of General Supervisor of Investment Management, and in 2022, he was appointed as the General Supervisor of Endowments, Grants, and Bequests Management at Umm Al-Qura University. He currently serves as the General Supervisor of Investments at Wadi Makkah Company. He also works as an administrative consultant at Unlimited Creativity Company and MIM Consultations, leveraging his experience to achieve organizational success.
Previously, Eng ِAhmad served as a faculty member in the College of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department, enhancing his impact in academic circles. He is also a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers. Moreover, Eng Ahmad's impressive academic background includes a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with first-class honors from Umm Al-Qura University, a master's degree in production and manufacturing engineering from King Abdulaziz University, and a diploma in Diamond and Gemstone Testing from IGI International. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at a prestigious British university, emphasizing his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
In addition to his institutional endeavors, Eng ِAhmad has played a role in developing the gold and jewelry sector as the Vice Chairman of the Gold and Jewelry Committee at the Mecca Chamber. His contributions extend beyond business activities, as evidenced by his participation in various committees, including the Internal Audit Committee at the Mecca Chamber of Commerce.

Eng. AbdulKareem has been working as the Vice President of Operations at Abdul Ghani House of Gold and Jewelry since 2016. In addition to being a board member of Abdul Ghani Holding Company, he is the CEO of Road Supplies Company since its establishment in 2017. He also holds the position of Operations Manager at Abdul Ghani House of Gold and Jewelry, and is a certified Diamond and Gemstone Inspector by the International Gemological Institute (IGI).
He participates in the Industrial Committee at the Chamber of Commerce in Mecca as the Manufacturing Manager at Abdul Ghani House of Gold.
He lectures in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, where he obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with excellence. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
تقلدت ريم منصب عضو مجلس إدارة في شركة عبدالغني القابضة بالإضافة لكونها نائب المدير التنفيذي في شركة عبدالغني إرث المجوهرات منذ عام (٢٠١٧)، الأمر الذي أكسبها خبرة كمستشارة لإدارة الدعاية والإعلان والتسويق في شركة عبدالغني بيت الذهب والمجوهرات العريق في الفترة (٢٠١٤ – ٢٠١٦).
لذلك قادت ريم جهود تأسيس شركة السهم الذكي للدعاية والإعلان (إحدى الشركات التابعة لشركة عبدالغني القابضة) ورسمت توجهاتها الاستراتيجية من خلال منصب المدير التنفيذي بدءاً من عام (٢٠١٦)، وواصلت شغفها من خلال الماجستير في تخصص التسويق (من جامعة سالفورد ببريطانيا بالتعاون مع كلية روبرت كينيدي في سويسرا) الذي شارفت على الانتهاء منه.
استطاعت ريم بخبراتها وعلمها أن تكون عضو فعال في لجنة سيدات الأعمال بالغرفة التجارية في مدينة مكة المكرمة وعضو في لجنة الذهب والمجوهرات بالغرفة، وهي حائزة على دبلوم فحص الألماس والأحجار الكريمة من مركز شركة عبدالعني للتدريب بالتعاون مع معهد (IGI) عام (٢٠١٧).
وريم أيضاً هي عضو الهيئة الأكاديمية في جامعة أم القرى كمحاضرة في مركز اللغة الإنجليزية منذ عام (٢٠١٠) حتى الآن، ولديها ماجستير في المناهج وطرق تدريس اللغة الانجليزية بمعدل (٣.٨١ من ٤) وتقدير عام ممتاز مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى عام (٢٠١٣). وبكالوريوس في اللغة الانجليزية مع إعداد تربوي بمعدل (٣.٦٥ من ٤) وتقدير عام ممتاز مع مرتبة الشرف الثانية عام (٢٠٠٧).
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Gawad, a member of the board of directors
of AbdulGhani Holding Company and its advisor, holds a Ph.D. in Industrial
Engineering and is also a distinguished university professor in his field. He
has had a rich career marked by achievements and diverse experiences in
teaching and consultancy.
He began his professional career as a lecturer at Zagazig
University in Egypt, starting as an assistant lecturer in March 1992 until
1998. He then worked as an assistant lecturer at the same university until
1999, and as a research assistant until 2004, before becoming a lecturer until
2006.
Subsequently, he was appointed as an assistant professor at
Garyounis University in Libya from 2006 to 2007, and at King Khalid University
from 2007 to 2012. He then moved to Umm Al-Qura University in 2012, working as
an assistant professor until 2018, where he was promoted to associate professor
since 2018.
Dr. Mohammed AbdulGawad is an expert in the field of
Industrial Engineering, having taught numerous courses including Introduction
to Industrial Engineering, Engineering Economics, Deterministic Operations
Research, Production and Inventory Control, and Control Systems, among others.
He has several publications in prestigious conferences and
scientific journals, contributing to papers related to Industrial Engineering
applications and advanced manufacturing methods.
Dr. Mohammed Abdel Gawad's role extends beyond academia; he
has been actively involved in consultancy. He provided extensive expertise as a
feasibility studies consultant at the International Inspection and Quality
Services Company from 2000 to 2006. He also offered consultancy services to the
Misri Factory in Egypt from 2004 to 2006. At Zagazig University, he served as a
quality unit consultant from 2005 to 2006.
His consultancy wasn't limited to Egypt; he also worked as a
consultant for project studies and management at Garyounis University in Libya
from 2006 to 2007. Subsequently, he served as a project management consultant
at Umm Al-Qura University from 2015 to 2016.
Also, he contributed to the development and re-planning of
Zamzam Water Factory, specifying requirements and studying proposals for a new
production line with high production capacities and rates.
He conducted developmental studies to enhance the AbdulGhani
Jewellery Factory in Makkah, developing and establishing new production lines
to improve costs, reduce the human resources needed, enhance product quality,
and open new markets for advanced designs. He also worked as a consultant for
AbdulGhani Gold and Jewellery Company since 2012.
Furthermore, he led the implementation of Lean Manufacturing
principles in 5 factories in Badr City to minimize waste and increase
productivity.
Additionally, Dr. Mohammed AbdulGawad was appointed as a
consultant for the development of Hajj transport services by the General
Authority for the Development of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites,
conducting qualitative and economic studies aimed at improving these services.
Among the consultancy projects he undertook was his
involvement in occupational health and safety consultancy at Zagazig University
in Egypt. His consultations also included risk assessment and identifying ways
to reduce potential risks for 28 hospitals in the Sharkia Governorate, in
addition to the Health Directorate building.
Overall, Dr. Mohammed Abdel Gawad is a prominent figure in
the field of Industrial Engineering, university education, and consultancy,
with a distinguished career marked by achievements and excellence in various
fields of work.
